With this body of work recorded in 2017, Portland based visual artist, and musician, Sean Christensen, presents 50 minutes of lush, otherworldly sounds. The songs were written both in response and in dedication to the High Desert in Oregon.

Playful synths dance to shamanistic drum programming whilst dense textural melodies churn, swirl and bubble alongside their percussive counterparts in hypnotic synchronicity.  

This one is best listened to whilst watering plants, hiking, drawing, building sandcastles or lying on the floor at home, exploring the sacred inner worlds behind closed eyelids. These recordings are simultaneously chaotic, relaxing, uplifting and transcendental in nature.

This UK release of the digital album is accompanied by a bonus remix of ‘Sun melting off the sleep’ by Egopatterns. A fluorescent, wonky club track wriggling about somewhere amongst the dimmer lit areas of the dance floor.
